A man in Newton has been working at the same job for fifty years.
La-Z-Boy celebrated the longevity of Wayne Maske Tuesday, by hosting a lunch party in his honor.
Co-workers, company officials and family joined together to celebrate the milestone.
But for Maske, it doesn't seem like that big of a deal . . . Nor does it seem like it's been five decades.
"It doesn't seem like it has been fifty years," said Maske. "You get to working, come to work every day, time goes by. Pretty soon you've got a lot of time in."
Not only has Maske been working at La-Z-Boy for 50 years, he has been doing the same basic job that entire time, installing bases.
