Law Enforcement Patrolling Fairgrounds

Officials say so far, so good at this year's Neshoba County Fair.

Lauderdale County Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun was among those patrolling the fairgrounds in Neshoba County this weekend. He says despite the hot weather, everyone has been enjoying the food and music. Calhoun tells us security will be out in full force until the fair ends on Friday.

"We have a good presence of security guards and local law enforcement here," Calhoun says. "It's a good, safe place. You look around and there are kids running everywhere and people having a great time."

Newscenter 11 will be live from the Neshoba County Fair on Wednesday during Good Morning Meridian, Live at 5, and Newscenter 11 at 6:00.
