Multi-County Community Service Agency is one step closer to getting a new home.
Lauderdale County supervisors accepted bids Thursday for construction of a new building in meridian.
Because of poor conditions at the old Mt. Barton School, the former office location for MCCSA, the agency moved most its operations to a temporary site last spring.
The estimated cost for the new building is $1.3 million.
Supervisors are expected to approve a contractor for the project at its regular meeting Monday evening.
