Womanless Pageant Supports United Way

Some employees of Anderson Regional Medical Center went above the call of duty for a good cause.

Several men dressed to the nines for a Womanless Beauty Pageant. Each participant worked the crowd for donations for The United Way of East Mississippi.

Anderson is working to reach a record-setting goal.

"The United Way has several agencies in our community that support those that have great needs and it's a charitable cause," said Anderson CEO Ray Humphreys. "And this hospital is committed to serving that purpose in many ways."

Humphreys said the Womanless Beauty Pageant was expected to put Anderson at the $100,000 mark for its annual contribution to The United Way. He says that would set a record.
