Meridian police say the Shell station on 22nd Avenue was robbed early Tuesday morning. It happened about 2:30 a.m.
Officials say the suspect entered the store and displayed a firearm to the clerk while demanding the money from the register.
The MPD says the clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5' 3' in height and weighing 110 to 120 pounds. A surveillance camera captured an image of the suspect.
