Rebel Road Trip Starts in Meridian

The 2012 Ole Miss Rebel Road Trip begins April 23 in Meridian. There will be 16 stops in all.

The Meridian event will be at the Holiday Inn Meridian from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m, and breakfast will be served.

Tickets are $10 per person and are available online. A link is provided below.

Ole Miss head football coach Hugh Freeze and new athletic director Ross Bjork will participate.

In addition to the two speakers, each stop on the tour will include Ole Miss officials, special guests, information booths, merchandise and a video look at the university, including Rebel athletics, the UMAA Foundation and the Alumni Association.

Here's the complete schedule:
April 23 - Meridian (7:30-9 a.m., Holiday Inn), Waynesboro (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., First Baptist Church Family Center), Gulfport (5:30-7:30 p.m., The Dock)

April 24 - Indianola (7:30-9 a.m., B.B. King Museum), Vicksburg (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Convention Center), Jackson (5:30-7:30 p.m., The South)

April 25 - West Point (7:30-9 a.m., Old Waverly Golf Club), Birmingham (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Vulcan Park & Museum), Tupelo (5:30-7:30 p.m., BancorpSouth Conference Center)

April 26 - McComb (7:30-9 a.m., Fernwood Country Club), Clarksdale (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., The Bank), Southaven (5:30-7:30 p.m., Landers Center)

April 27 - Corinth (7:30-9 a.m., The Dinner Bell), Nashville (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Loews Hotel), Memphis (5:30-7:30 p.m., Botanic Garden)

April 28 - Oxford (3:30 p.m., Double Decker)
