99% OF PEOPLE IN MERIDIAN DO NOT CARE ABOUT HISTORIC DISTRICTS IN MERDIAN OR THE HISTORIC
BUILDINGS. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT WHEN THE CAR WASH WAS THERE!!!!! LET DOLLAR GENERAL PUT IN THE STORE.. MORE SALES TAX DOLLARS FOR MERIDIAN. L.O.L. WE REALLY NEED MORE MONEY TO FIX THESE BAD STREET'S!!!!! THE CITY COUNCIL COULD MAKE SOME TRIPS TO FIND MORE INDUSTRIES FOR OUR AREA!!!!!. THANK YOU MAYOR CHERI BARRY. I AM PROUD OF YOU.!!!

The area surrounding the few houses on PSD is already getting slummy. There are many of the upper homes in bad need of repair. The Nixie/Dixie or whatever it is now looks like something in a bad part of Jackson. They will be next to each other. Is all this arguing really necessary? If they live on PSD and their houses are in need of repair, the city should force them to fix their own front porches before getting on somebody else's porch.

If there was no existing commercial development surrounding this property, there would be room for consideration of present and future zoning.
