A west Alabama woman has won an out-of-the-ordinary statewide pageant. Viola Thomas from Willow Trace Nursing Home in Butler has won the title of Ms. Alabama Nursing Home Association 2012. She won the local title this past spring. Earlier this week she competed on the state level. Ms. Thomas, who is 92-years-old, will represent the Alabama Nursing Home Association this year.
