Authorities in Kemper County say 30-year old Recardo Harris of Philadelphia was found hanging in his jail cell about 1:30 Friday afternoon.

Harris was serving time for armed robbery in Lauderdale County and aggravated assault in Neshoba County.

Investigators say his death was a suicide, but his body has been sent to Jackson for autopsy.
