Inmate Charged with Possession

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department has filed charges against state inmate, Jerry Trammel, 28, who is incarcerated at the East Mississippi Correctional Facility.
Trammel is accused of possession of marijuana and contraband in a correctional facility.
Officials say this is a separate incident from the arrest of Elena Victoria Lindsey, but both cases are a result of internal investigations by prison operator, MTC, and the East Mississippi Drug Task Force.
