Two drivers died in a 3-vehicle collision Thursday around 7:45 a.m. in Lauderdale County. It happened on Highway 145 about 2 miles north of the Clarkdale School campus.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says a northbound vehicle driven by 61-year-old Veronica Mabry of Enterprise struck two southbound vehicles.

Mabry died in the wreck as did 55-year-old Roger Apperson of Meridian.

The MHP said a third driver and several children passengers did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
