An abortion is very intrusive into the life of a preborn living human being. Don't you get it? A mother should not have the right to kill her owm baby no matter what point of maturity.

Thank you. For or against is not the point of this bill. Children and women already at risk amoung the others should have Quality Doctors not some Quack who used to treat ingrown toenails. If a Doctor can't get admitting priviledges he might as well be called a 'coathanger'.

Amen. and considering what the bills say, I sincerely believe they have the safety of women at heart.

ED, so it doesn't matter if the women are getting care or should I say lack of medical care, in what is suppose to a "medical clinic" that results in serious injury. Just as long as it is free or affordable. and This is about the Mississippi clinic with some of the same people working in it that worked in the other clinic. You think they are giving better care over here? OR do you mean that we need affordable safe adequate healthcare that covers all fields of services for everyone? Right now these 2 bills in the news report are about abortion. I am just trying to understand where you are coming from.

Praise the Lord! If even a few children's deaths are prevented it will be worth it. May GOD richly bless Gov Phil Braynt and the MS Legislature for this wonderful thing. God will notice this. You will see. An abortion is not health care for the baby. It is murder.

I am surprised that the abortion clinics are not already licensed as such. Any other clinic or freestanding surgical center must have board certified physicians performing procedures on patients and must also have a physician with admitting privileges to a local hospital. Why should an abortion clinic not also have to follow these laws? There are reasons for these laws...patient safety being first and foremost. I for one would not want to go to any type of clinic to have a procedure done by someone who was not adequately trained in the procedure, use equipment that may or may not work appropriately, or not be able to admit me to a hospital in case of an emergency. I can't understand anyone who would!

Is the owner really worried that no one may want to give privileges to doctors who worked at that clinic of hers because they also worked at her clinic that just got closed down in AL because of giving unsafe care to patients? Like a 76 page deficiency report. Lack of documentation of medications administered.
Inaccurate preparation and administration drugs resulting in overdoses or inadequate pain management.
Use of equipment with inspection dates from 2007 or no inspection date at all.
Failure of on-call nurse to return patient calls, document correct dates on reports, or notify the physician of patient problems.
Does the lack of safe health care concern anyone else?
Or is it ok to dole out hackery to women who can not afford to pay for adequate health care?
