The Mississippi Department of Education announced the Summer Food Service Program schedule.
Meals will be served free to children 18 years of age and under.
Households of children who attend a residential camp must complete a meal application as well as meet the income guidelines for reduced price meals.
Children who are part of households that receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) are automatically eligible to receive free meals.
