Send EMCF Employee Arrested

A prison guard at the East Mississippi Correctional Facility has been charged with sneaking drugs into the prison.

34-year old Kenshasa Evans was arrested for possession of drugs in a correctional facility and was subsequently fired.

Officials say Evans was bringing the illegal substances into the prison.

Evans' bond was set at $15,000.
