Trees of Christmas Begins!

Thursday night was the opening gala for the annual Trees of Christmas at Merrehope in Meridian.

The project raises funds and awareness for both Merrehope and F.W. Williams. Holiday tours begin Friday morning and the cost is $10 per person. You'll have a chance to see all of the Christmas trees and decorations you could possibly imagine.

"You can get your merry on at Merrehope," organizer Betty Lou Jones says. "This is the best way to start the holiday season."

Tours are being offered Monday through Saturday between now and December 29th.
