Grocery Customers Donate to Wesley House

Over the past few weeks, customers at Cash Saver have had the opportunity to purchase a $5 bag of food as part of its Hunger Knows No Season campaign.

Wesley House Friday picked up eleven pallets of food that was donated, including the fixings for a nice Thanksgiving meal.

Executive director Ginger Grissom says the large donation will help them make it through the Thanksgiving holiday.

"I just left a whole house full of folks who are needing food, and two of my office staff were in my office sobbing because they didn't think we were going to make it," said Grissom. "This is an answered prayer. I am so excited. Thank you so much."

Cash Saver and Wesley House plan to partner together again to collect food for the Christmas season.
