More arrests have been made in a drug roundup in Demopolis, Alabama. As of Tuesday, November 27th, 24 arrests had been made. The roundup started last week. It resulted from a more than year long investigation. Demopolis Police Chief Tommie Reese says even more arrests are expected.

The following individuals have been arrested so far:

1. Robert Johnson,
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

2. Brenda Lee Harris,
Charges: 4 counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

3. Jennifer Clair Martin,
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

4. Willie Washington
Charges: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.
1 count of possession of marijuana 2nd degree &
1 count of possession of drug paraphernalia

5. Juan Tino McClain,
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

6. Brad Andrew Braxton
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

7. Gregory Hildreth
Charges: 2 counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

8. Loyd Ahmad Hammad
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

9. Willie Barnett,
Charges: 3 counts of distribution of a controlled substance.


10. Juan Demetric Huitt
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

11. Marcus Jermaine McKinley
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

12. Syler Montrelle Daniels
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

13. Eric Maricue Elmore
Charges: 4 counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

14. Kevin Lamont Shaw
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

15. Otis Collier Jr.
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

16. Beverly Thrasher
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

17. Ernest Glenn Bryant
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

18. Travis Wesley
Charges: 4 counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

19.Travis Dewayne Rowser
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

20. Justin Ray Hall
Charges: 2 counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

21. Milton James Daniels
Charges: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance; Escape III; Ex- Felon in Possession of a Firearm; Receiving Stolen Property III; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

22. Derrick Cartez Simmons
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.



Two other individuals were arrested previously but were a part of this operation:

23. Johnny Monghan
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.

24. Derrick Haywood,
Charge: 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance.
