An annual Christmas tradition is upon us and the best part is that everyone is invited!

The 28th annual Singing Christmas Tree performance begins Thursday night at 7:00 at Highland Baptist Church in Meridian. Performances are also scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Organizers say it is a tradition that never gets old.

"It's all about presenting the gospel," Minister of Music Franklin Denham says. "We have a beautiful tree, beautiful lights, beautiful music. But the main focus of course is sharing of Christ through the message of the music."

Tickets are still available for upcoming performances. You can pick them up at Highland Baptist Church or at Harry Mayer clothing on Highway 39.
