Meridian police are investigating an armed robbery that was reported Christmas morning.

Police say it happened about 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Texaco station on 8th Street at 46th Avenue.

Officials say a short black male armed with a handgun entered the store, then robbed it before running away.

Police say they don't have a lot of other information.
