One Man Missing After Boat Overturns

One man is missing after the boat he was in overturned near Stuckey's Bridge on the Chunky River on Saturday night.

Investigators say it is possible that the boat struck hidden debris, causing it to flip. Two other people were in the boat at the time of the incident, but they are said to be safe.

Officials from Lauderdale, Newton, and Clarke counties have been involved in search efforts. The American Red Cross and the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries are also assisting.

High river levels are making the search difficult.
