Send Suspect Arrested after Failed Holdup

Meridian police say a man attempted a robbery at M & B Grocery on 26th Avenue Friday morning. It happened just after 10:00.


Witnesses told police the suspect came into the store armed with a knife. He was unsuccessful and ran away.

The MPD says it saturated the area and found 34-year-old Zachariah Harris of Meridian minutes later.

Harris' bond was set at $250,000.
