Stella Ruth Meador

Services for Ms. Stella Meador will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with Rev. Mark Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Pinckney Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Stella Meador, 80, of Decatur, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Newton.

Survivors include:

1 Son: Davey L. Meador and wife Anita of Decatur

2 Granddaughters: Mandi Hollingsworth and husband Clay of Decatur; Carrie Luke and husband Jeremy of Chunky

1 Great Grandson: Cole Hollingsworth

1 Great Granddaughter: Maggie Luke

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and sister in laws and brother in laws.

Ms. Meador is preceded in death by her husband, David “Sonny” Meador.

She will be remembered as a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

Pallbearers: Homer Burton, Berwyn Rigdon, John Meador, Marty Hollingsworth, Olin Thomas, and Jerry Meador

Visitation will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
