Services for Ocie E. Anderson Payton will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Unity Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Elsie A. Barnes officiating. Burial will be Unity Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Payton 64, died Wednesday, May 4, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Deceased's occupation: Teacher- 27 years.

Survivors include: Husband: James R. Payton-Meridian, 2 sons: Montajo Payton and Cedric Payton, 1 Daughter: Alisha Payton, 2 Sisters: Elsie A. Barnes (Thomas)- Gulfport
and Marva A. Shelby (Sammie)-Laurel, 5 Brothers: Riley Anderson (Minnie)-Cleveland, OH, Curtis Anderson-Union, S.C., John Anderson-Dekalb, MS, James Anderson
(Lisa)-Flint, MI, Willard D. Anderson (Justina)-Dayton, OH
She was preceded in death by her parents: Father: Lonnie J.C. Anderson, Mother: Omera Riley Anderson, Step Mother: Dessie Lee Anderson, 2 Sisters: Johnnie Pearl Anderson Williams and Doris Anderson Hayes. Visitation will be Friday, May 11, 2012 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
