Services for Elizabeth Christine Knight will be held Wednesday at 2pm at Webb Chapel with Bro. Jack Giles officiating. Burial will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Knight, 84, of Meridian, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Specialty Hospital. She was born and raised in Conehatta before moving to Meridian. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved life. Among many things, she loved gardening, fishing, and cooking. She loved her daily routine with her friends. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends, including her loving pet, “Gizmo”. The family would like to say a special thanks to the medical staff at Rush Hospital.

She is survived by her life partner, Paul Lily; her children, William Knight (Ann Brewster), Retha House (Eddie), Robert Knight ( Donna), and Joe Knight (JoAnn); grandchildren, Michael Reddington Knight, Jill Sullivan (Anthony), Alana Knight, Korina Knight, Jason House (Amy), Christy Day, Crystal Robertson (Brad), Travis Knight, and Justin Knight (Brooke); 17 great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Massey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Knight; brother, Hubert Leach, sisters, Johnnie Wall and Zadine Leach; and a grandchild, Rose Carpenter.

Pallbearers will be Justin Knight, Travis Knight, Jason House, Dalton House, Alex Day, and Caleb Carpenter.
