CORDALE LEWIS DIXON

CORDALE LEWIS DIXON, age 26, of Lisman, Alabama, passed December 22, 2012 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, Mississippi. Service of remembrance will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 12:00 noon from Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church, Yantley, Alabama with Rev. Jasper Irby, pastor, delivering the eulogy. Mr. Dixon will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11 East, York, Ala. Visitation is scheduled Friday evening (Dec. 28th) from 3-6:00 P.M. In the Weatherly Chapel. The funeral processional will leave from Weatherly Funeral Home, 1575 East 4th Avenue (York). At 11:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

Cordale was a 2006 graduate of Choctaw County High School. He was also a dedicated employee of Wal-Mart.

Those left to cherish his memories and to celebrate his life are: his loving father and step-mother; Woodie and Phnita Jackson of Mobile, Ala., maternal grandmother, Hettie Mae Ruffin, Lisman,Al., paternal grandmother, Susie Alston, Bellamy, Ala., sisters- Alexia (Willie) Woodard, Birmingham, Ala., Mercedes Jackson, Epes, Al., brother, Woodie Jackson, Jr., niece, Alexandria G. Woodard; many aunts, uncles, cousins, devoted aunt, Janice (Glenn) Harris of Cleveland, Oh., devoted uncles, Jerry Ruffin, Mobile, Ala., William (Tanya) Ruffin, and Robert Nicholson, Lisman, Al., and Ronnie (Burnette) Alston, Birmingham, Alabama.
