Velma Wilkerson

Services for Ms. Velma Wilkerson will be held 2 pm, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the County Line Cemetery. Rev. Rusty Walton will officiate.

Ms. Wilkerson, 94, of Conehatta, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her residence.

Survivors include:

4 Daughters: Mable Smith of Arkansas

Allene Loper of Conehatta

Bonnie Hunter of Magnolia, TX

Janelle Hill and Husband Melvin of Conroe, Tx

2 Sons:

Thomas Earl Wilkerson and wife Jimmie Carylon of Magnolia, TX

Raymond Wilkerson of Conehatta, Ms

3 Sisters: Luna Ferrell of Newton

Lucille Stag of Newton

Helen Marie Hardin of Orange, TX

She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.

Ms. Wilkerson was preceded in death by two daughters, Florence Budell and Mary Finley.

Pallbearers: Sammy Joe Loper, Tommy Wilkerson, Joe Wilkerson, Dusty Bell, Randy Caraway, Gary Hunter, Raymond Wilkerson, Daniel Caraway and Peyton Wilson

Visitation will be held from 12 pm – 2 pm, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the funeral home.
