Ethel W. McElroy

Funeral services for Ethel W. McElroy, 92, of Cuba will be held Monday, December 31, 2012 at 2 P.M. from the Chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Memorial Cemetery in Cuba. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Monday.

Mrs. McElroy was born November 15, 1920 and passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Hill Hospital in York. She was a retired finance director for Hill Hospital.

Survivors include her sister Virginia W. Harris of Birmingham, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Uel McElroy; parents David N. and Lurly Lee Fluker Wideman; sister Annie Mae Miller; and brother David L. Wideman.

Pallbearers are Brad Abbey, Mark Stallings, Jimmy Shoemaker, Robert Harris, David Harris, and Leonard Hartman. Honorary Pallbearers are the Women of the Cuba Church of God.
