Orean Hollis (Red) Nelson, 70 of Lawrence, MS, died Saturday,December 29, 2012 at his Residence in Lawrence,MS. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Lawrence Baptist Church.Burial will be in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery. Newton County Funeral Home North, Hwy 15 North, Newton, MS is in charge of arrangements 601-635-3200.
He enjoyed horseback riding & water skiing.
Survivors Include: Wife: Betsy Nelson, Lawrence, MS; Son: Hollis M Nelson & wife Teresa, Gulfport, MS;Suzanne Y Scoggin & husband Cliff, Decatur, MS; Sheri A Carey & husband Kendall, Decatur, MS; Brother: Dewey Nelson & wife Dianne, Lawrence,MS; 5 Grandchildren: Willie Bounds & wife Wynter, Orion Nelson & wife Casandra,Lauren Nelson, Austin Scoggin & Aaron Scoggin. 2 Great Grandchildren: Blakely LaFontaine & Loper Bounds Numerous Nieces & Nephews
