Services for Linda Sue Eakes Knight will be held 2 pm, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Lin Chesney and Rev. Malcolm Lewis will officiate.
Mrs. Knight, 58, of Union, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital of Charlotte, NC.
Survivors include:
Husband: Mark Knight of Union
One Son: Marcus Knight of Union
One daughter: Amanda Knight of Union
Five Grandchildren
One brother Arthur Eakes of Philadelphia
One sister: Mary Ann Posey of Philadelphia
She was preceded in death by parents: Chester and Magaline Eakes, one brother, Johnny Eakes, daughter, Debra Agent
Pallbearers: Jason Eakes, Shannon Eakes, Chet Eakes, Jonathon Jenkins, Justin Knight and George Carey
Visitation will be held 5- 8 pm, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
