Rev. Hilliard H. Broadhead

Funeral services for Rev. Hilliard H. Broadhead, 86, of Needham will be held Monday, January 21st at 12 Noon from Needham Assembly of God with Rev. John Lucky and Rev. Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Brightwater Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Bumpers Funeral Home and on Monday at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Broadhead passed away Thursday, January 17th at Chatughe Regional Nursing Home in Hiawassee, Georgia. He was a retired minister and a retired electrician from Georgia Pacific. He was also a WWII U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his son Ronald H. Broadhead (Cynthia) of Blairsville, Georgia; daughter-in-law Paulette M. Broadhead of Lakeland, Florida; brothers Hubert Broadhead of Quitman, Mississippi; Maxie G. Broadhead of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; sisters Mae Jewel Kelley of Butler, Alabama; Bonnie Jean Barrett of Prattville, Alabama; Betty Joyce Rogers of Butler, Alabama; and Sandra K. Gunter of Carlton, Alabama; six grandchildren Eric Broadhead, Corrie Patterson, Joel Broadhead, Lindsay Morris, Lauren Thomas, and Leigh Britton; and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Loper Broadhead; son Larry G. Broadhead; and parents Azariah and Macie Manley Broadhead; one brother Horace D. Broadhead; and one sister Janice Broadhead.
