Services for Mr. Marcus Lavan Smith, 56, of Decatur, will be held 11 am, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Golden Grove Cemetery.

Survivors: Mother: Nell Smith Smittle of Tulsa, OK

1 Son: Mark Anthony Kelley of West Monroe, LA

5 Grandchildren

3 Step Children: Stormy Vaughn of Collinsville, Sonny Taylor of Newton and Angel Taylor of Newton

4 Sisters: Darla Boren of Pollock, LA, Glenda Johnson of Decatur, Melissa Finley of Hickory and Stacey McNeil and husband Daniel of Union

1 Brother: David Smith of Union

He is survived by a special nephew, Brandon Lee Johnson and wife Christine, niece, Kim Hollingsworth and also many other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, Herman Lavan Smith and wife Theresa Smith.

Pallbearers: Brandon Lee Johnson, Mark Kelley, David Smith, Daniel McNeil, Johnathon Fletcher and Bill Mills

Visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.
