UWA Remains 8th in Rankings

There was no change for the University of West Alabama in this week's D2football.com Media Poll. The Tigers remained No. 8 in the media poll and continued as the highest ranked team in the Gulf South Conference.
The Tigers, who are ranked 13th in the current American Football Coaches Association poll, are 1-0 heading into Saturday's game at Samford. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
There was no change in the top nine positions in the week one poll.
