Pro Rodeo Coming to Philadelphia

The Southeastern Professional Finals Rodeo is coming to Neshoba County in 2013.

The rodeo will take place at the Neshoba County Coliseum Jan. 24-26. The doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Sanctioned events include bareback riding, calf roping, team roping, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, break away roping and bull riding.

"This will bring in over 200 cowboys competing for year end awards which will include added money and saddles and buckles," said Keith Burgess of the Southeastern Rodeo.

The Philadelphia-Neshoba County Tourism Council, Neshoba County Coliseum and local sponsors are teaming to bring the rodeo competition.

Tickets may be purchased at the Neshoba County Coliseum or at the Community Development Partnership at The Depot in Philadelphia.
