Ole Miss QB Brunetti Will Return for His Senior Year
Posted: 9:08 PM Dec 28, 2012
Reporter: Louis Montesi, III

Ole Miss back-up quarterback Barry Brunetti will return to Oxford for his senior year.

According to the Clarion-Ledger's Hugh Kellenburger, Brunetti told reporters after Friday's practice that he loves Ole Miss and likes where the program is headed. He said he will compete for the quarterback position in the spring, but will play wherever his coaches put him.

Brunetti, who has run for 255 yards and two touchdowns while throwing for another, has taken the majority of snaps over the past eight practices in light of starter Bo Wallaces' shoulder injury.

Wallace is still expected to start in the Compass bowl.
