NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- An email mentioning a $5,000 pledge toward an
implied bounty on Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers has become
another point of contention between accused players and the way the
NFL has portrayed evidence in its investigation of the New Orleans
Saints. The email was written from prison by marketing agent Mike
Ornstein, who once represented Reggie Bush.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Memphis Grizzlies are hoping they can
play well enough for one more home game against the Los Angeles
Clippers. The Grizzlies trail the best-of-seven series 3-2 but can
force a decisive game with a win on Friday night in Los Angeles. If
the Grizzlies win, Game 7 would be Sunday in Memphis.

CONCORD, N.C. (AP) -- Danica Patrick isn't sure if NASCAR will
penalize her for wrecking Sam Hornish Jr. at Talladega. Patrick was
angry after Hornish ran her up the track on the last lap of the
Nationwide Series race. She insists she did not mean to wreck
Hornish.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. says he's gone faster
at every track he's raced at this season -- and he's certain
Darlington Raceway won't be any different. Earnhardt will try for
his first Sprint Cup victory at the Southern 500 on Saturday night.
