Quitman High School has hired Gina Skelton as their new girls basketball coach. Coach Skelton replaces Mike Coleman who left to take same position at Raymond High School. Coach Skelton takes over a Lady Panther team that finished the year 25-5 and were one game away from the Coliseum.

3 Basketball State Championships and 4 State Runner ups
11 North/South State Championships
15 Division Championships and 9 Division Runner ups
National South Sectional Coach of the Year
Clarion Ledger Coach of the Year
Mississippi Association of Coaches Coach of the Year
MS/AL All Star Coach
