Mississippi State SID Greg Ellis says guard Jalen Steele is practicing with the team and should play Sunday when the Bulldogs host Alabama A&M.
Steele has been out with a cracked right wrist he suffered in MSU's second game of the season. Head Coach Rick Ray desperately needs Steele back in the line-up. He is one of only two players on the current roster with playing experience from last season.
Steele's activation means Mississippi State only has seven scholarship players on its roster.
The Bulldogs host Alabama A&M Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Humphrey Coliseum in Mississippi State's campus.
