The No. 5 MSU Bulldogs defeated Purdue 3-2 at Dudy Noble field in Starkville Friday.

Jonathan Holder picked up the victory for the Bulldogs.

A rain delay kept the teams in dugout with the score tied at 1 in the bottom of the seventh.

The Bulldogs face Samford Saturday at 3:00 pm.
