Sunday 1/20 Forecast Discussion
Posted: 7:24 PM Jan 20, 2013
Reporter: Jeff Burrowes

Today was another great day! We started out chilly again this morning, bottoming out right at 30 degrees. We made it up to 65 this afternoon under full sunshine, and of course no rain fell anywhere in the viewing area (or Southeast for that matter) today. A cold front is stationed up to our North and it will move South tomorrow, bringing some clouds with it, but with a lack of moisture, we shouldn't see any showers with it. That cold front will keep our temperatures down, with Tuesday morning lows bottoming out in the upper 20s, and Tuesday afternoon highs struggling to get much past 50. Wednesday morning will be the coldest of the week, with lows reaching the low to mid 20s. A disturbance from Canada will dive down through the Plains late in the week, and that will bring us a pretty good chance for some showers Thursday night into Friday. No thunderstorms are expected. Late week temperatures will stay pretty seasonable with highs in the upper 50s and lows in the mid 30s.
