The front that brought all the storms this morning is now to our east, and outside of some lingering light showers, the rain is gone. Clouds will begin to erode from southwest to northeast overnight with all of us seeing clear skies by morning. Sunshine will be in full force for our Thursday and Friday as high pressure builds into the Twin States.

Our next chance of rain arrives on Saturday as a weak cold front drops in from the north. Right now, it looks like most of us will stay dry with just a couple of isolated showers possible as this system should not have much moisture to work with and virtually no upper level support over us. A little stronger cold front arrives on Tuesday, but as of now, also looks to be moisture starved, but will bring more clouds for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Temperatures will bottom out for their coldest readings on Friday as the cold air behind the front that just passed filters in completely. Not to worry though, as this cool down is short-lived and by Monday, we should all be back in the 60s.
