Jimmy Harris is charged with making sexual advances toward a 28-year-old mentally challenged woman. The incident allegedly happened last month on a West Alabama Public Transportation bus which Harris drove. Monday morning in court Harris asked for a court appointed attorney.
In June Harris, who is 57-years-old, lost a bid in the democratic primary for coroner of Sumter County. He could face up to 10 years in jail if found guilty.
