Alabama Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks is launching a redesigned Web site for his Democratic campaign for governor.
Sparks previewed the new design Thursday at his campaign headquarters in Montgomery. It shows videos of Sparks discussing issues, rather than simply providing written policy statements for people to read.
Sparks said his campaign is also using Facebook and Twitter to campaign because that's the way to reach young voters.
Sparks said he's not abandoning old-fashioned campaign methods. He said he spent five hours Wednesday campaigning door to door in Birmingham's West End.
Sparks faces U.S. Rep. Artur Davis in the Democratic primary in June.
