Move Over Law Takes Effect

Motorists in Alabama now have to move over for emergency vehicles or else face a fine.

The new "Move Over Law" in Alabama requires motorists to move over when they approach an emergency vehicle stopped on the side of the road with its emergency lights on, or else face a fine.

The law provides a fine of up to $25 for the first offense and increasing fines for subsequent offenses.

yea that will happen they dont move over for emergency vehicles coming up behind them, what makes anyone think they will move over for one sitting on the side of the road. Also a $25.00 fine, is that all the lives of the emergency personell that keep the roadways safe are worth?
