Still No Evaluation of Murder Suspect

Telvin Labenji Gray is accused of gunning down his wife, Starrick Gray, in January on the campus of Livingston High School, where she worked.

Earlier this month Gray's attorney requested that his client undergo a mental evaluation.

The court was informed Wednesday that the evaluation has still not been done.

"At this point, they're requesting a mental evaluation in the case and that's just kind of got the case on hold until we can
determine his competency at the time of the offense," said District Attorney Greg Griggers.

Griggers says the evaluation will likely be done within the next 60 days.

Gray is charged with capital murder. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to death.
