Autopsy Indicates No Foul Play

Choctaw County Sheriff James Lovette says autopsy results show that 42-year-old Monroe Thompson died from natural causes.

Thompson died around 2 a.m. April 23 after allegedly knocking on the door of a house in the Cromwell community and then fleeing.

Officials say he fell in the road about 100 yards from the house, hit his head and died.

Sheriff Lovette said charges are not expected to be filed in the case.
