A Southwest Alabama man is dead following a one vehicle accident.

The crash happened around 7:45 Thursday night on Choctaw Bluff Road, about twelve miles south of Jackson, Alabama.

The driver of the vehicle was 75-year-old Lewis Andrew Parnell.

Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and killed.

The Alabama Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
