York Police Chief Brian Harris says that a 13 year old boy has died after being hit by a train Friday evening.

Authorities made it out to the scene near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Curl Road just after 7 PM.

Harris says it is unclear exactly what led to the collision, and details are scarce at this hour.

There were no other injuries, but a 13 year old boy has been killed in York Friday evening.
