GasBuddy.com says the average price of a gallon of gas has fallen by about a cent and a half over the last seven days. Prices have dropped about thirty cents per gallon over the last two months from their summertime high.
Experts say many travelers in Mississippi and Alabama will see prices below $3.00 per gallon.
That average price for a gallon of gas in Mississippi is now $3.17. It is $3.19 in Alabama. The national average is down to $3.43.
