Local Singer Featured on Christmas Album

The music of a local worship pastor is included on a Christmas album launched by Jesus Daily Music Group.

Stacy Clearman of First Assembly of God in Meridian recorded "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" for the album, "An E-Pop Christmas".

The song is included with the works of Allison Kraus, Gary Chapman and Chris Sligh.

Clearman says he sees it as a way to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

"And we're hoping that we're able to connect with a larger scale of ministry and influence," said Clearman. "And through this company, reach more people, you know, with the music that God's given us."

Jesus Daily is the fastest growing Christian network on Facebook and currently has well over 10 million followers.

You may find Clearman's music there, as well as on iTunes.
