There will be Christmas tree lighting ceremonies in Meridian and Demopolis this week.
The city of Meridian will hold its annual tree lighting on Tuesday at 5 p.m. on the front lawn of City Hall.
Bryan H. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis will have a tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Meridian will also host its annual Christmas parade in downtown on Saturday at 5 p.m.
